How long does it take to receive my order after placing it?
Depending on how many slots are filled when your order is placed will determine how long it will take until your order is ready.
How will I know my order is ready?
We will reach out to you via email & phone to let you know your order is ready and schedule shipping to ensure you're available to receive.
How is the beef packaged?
Our beef is packaged in transparent, vacuum sealed packages that help seal the freshness of the beef for up to a year. This method also helps speed up the thawing process. Each package is clearly labeled so it is easy to tell which item it is.
How long does it last in the freezer?
For the best quality, we recommend consuming your beef within 12 months.
Is our beef USDA inspected?

What is the shelf life on my fresh beef?
Frozen, you have up to a year, fresh shelf life is much shorter at only a week to ensure quality. We can only store your beef for 7 days, as we have limited storage on our farm. You will need to ensure your final invoice is paid in full and someone is available to receive your order once shipped.
How much beef should I order?
The average person consumes 57 lbs. of beef a year, roughly a pound a week
-A family of two on average eats 120lbs. of meat per year
-A family of four on average eats 240 lbs. of meat per year
-A family of six on average eats 350 lbs. of meat per year
Do I get to keep the offal (organs)?
It is your choice if you would like to get the organs back.
The organs include heart, liver, kidney, and tongue for the whole animal.
What is the hanging weight?
The hanging weight is the weight of the animal after is has been harvested, and has had excess organs, hides, etc. removed. The hanging weight is almost 60% of the live weight. If you are getting a 1/4 or 1/2 package you will pay that percentage of their hanging weight. Whole packages will pay their entire hanging weight. You only pay for what you're receiving.
